Just east of the Lighthouse Restaurant (2340 Ontario St.), off of BRONTE Rd. there is a park where you can let your kids run wild.  It sits along the Waterfront Trail with a beautiful view of the marina.  You can stroll from there up Bronte Rd. where there is a wonderful gelateria/ice-cream parlour called the Butterfly Ice Cream Cafe.  For a kid friendly meal, try Lick's Burger & Ice Cream Shops Inc up on Lakeshore Rd. The food and the atmosphere are geared towards children, so you don't have to be concerned about interrupting a couple's romantic outing.
